Wow! This might be the best restaurant we have ever visited on holiday. High praise that includes two or three of the top 10 sunsets in the world. The setting is fantastic - arrive half an hour before sunset - and the restaurant is crisp, clean and well lit. The service pushes all of that over the top. Our waitress, Emma, was happy to run through her menu favourites with great candour and suggest an off menu wine, which was as good as promised. All of the staff were attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent but the lobster linguine was pure theatre as well. Then there were the extra touches like raki to start, chocolate pie, lemon sorbet and fresh fruit. I am sitting at the table, listening to the waves and reflecting on a truly spectacular meal. Like I said, just, wow!

Great food. We started with the beet root salad. The black garlic glaze was savory and contrasted well with the sweetness of the beats and balsamic. The stuffed calamari was excellent. The cheese in the stuffing was wonderful. The octopus was grilled to perfection with just enough char. The yellow pea purée went well with lemon sauce. The kleftiko was really good too. Service was great. We overlooked the ocean which elevated the whole experience.

I proposed to my girlfriend on the coast of Crete and had thought beforehand about where we could go for dinner afterward to make the evening perfect. First, I’d like to mention that the restaurant has a wonderful and beautiful atmosphere. It is located right on the beach and is stylishly decorated. The service and the welcome my now-fiancée and I received were very warm and pleasant. We immediately felt comfortable and at ease. The meal, which I had selected a few weeks in advance to create a special evening for us, was truly exceptional—more reminiscent of fine dining than a typical Greek restaurant. Everything tasted amazing, and the plating was truly unique. All ingredients were also locally sourced! The hospitality, as well as the quality of the food and service, definitely make this place worth a visit—or several! Many thanks again to Kostas for making the evening run so smoothly and for the reliable communication via email! And thank you to the entire team for creating such an unforgettable moment.

The most romantic restaurant by the sea! Everything was just perfect ,the setting, the service, and the food. The staff were so attentive and friendly, and every dish was full of flavor. It was one of those evenings you never forget and a truly a magical dining experience.

Everything was perfectly organized, and the highlight of the evening was the gentleman at the entrance checking reservations – full of class, warmth, and kindness. We had great experience at this restaurant! Atmosphere and Setting: It was a nice surprise to find tables outside in the shade, right under the trees and next to the sea. The vibe was super chill and relaxing, and hearing the sound of the waves while we ate was just perfect. It’s such an idyllic place for a meal. Food: The food was absolutely delicious and made the whole experience even better. Location and Accessibility: Even though it's in a more remote spot, it is definitely worth the effort to get here. Plus, they have a big parking lot, so finding a space is super easy.

Last year we got married by the sea at this beautiful venue. We returned for our 1st anniversary and it was just as wonderful. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff at Paraplous . The service, food and venue truly are amazing. Thank you we are looking forward to returning next year.

Love this place! We have been here a few times previously and always great. Fantastic location and atmosphere and food is fresh and tasty. Some very interesting wines. Costas is a charmer and we were served by Emma who is lovely. Highly recommended!
